Professor Arseny A. Sokolov is a distinguished clinician and academic specializing in neurorehabilitation, cognitive neurology and neurotechnology. With distinguished academic and clinical backgrounds, he completed his doctorate in medicine at the University of Tübingen in Germany, followed by advanced clinical and academic training in neurology in Munich and at the CHUV in Lausanne, as well as a PhD in clinical cognitive and social neuroscience from University College London. His research focuses on cognitive, affective, and social brain functions, specifically targeting executive function, visual perception, social cognition, and cognitive deficits associated with cerebellar lesions. Prof. Sokolov is the Chair of Neurorehabilitation at the inter-institutional Service universitaire de neuroréhabilitation of the CHUV Lausanne and the Institution of Lavigny in Switzerland. His research integrates innovative neurotechnologies, including neuroimaging, serious video games, and virtual reality, spearheading the ongoing transformation of  neurorehabilitation.
