Trained in Linguistics (The classics, Greek, Latin), Theology, and History in Regensburg (Germany) and Paris (France). Continuous research on the relation of religion(s), natural and technological sciences and medicine. Special interest in the biological and anthropological roots of religious development and behavior. As languages do not provide a commonly valuated term he has been focusing on the German term and concept of Religiosität (which may cover the English religiosity, religiousness, and spirituality) to initiate global and interdisciplinary research on the human capacity of believing, called credition. In 2011, at the University of Graz the Credition Research Project was established. It has been organized from its beginning in cooperation with the Neurological Clinic of the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf (Germany). The Headquarter of Graz expanded by participation of the University of Technology of Graz and the Medical University of Graz.
