Dr. Hannes Devos, PT, PhD, FACRM, is an internationally recognized expert in neurorehabilitation, with a focus on cognitive-motor integration, functional mobility, and aging-related neurological disorders. As Associate Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, he leads interdisciplinary research on innovative rehabilitation strategies for individuals with neurological conditions. His work incorporates virtual reality, telehealth, eye-tracking, brain imaging, and artificial intelligence / machine learning to personalize rehabilitation and expand access. With over 40 funded studies and more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Devos has significantly advanced the field’s understanding of cognitive workload, fitness-to-drive, and digital biomarkers of cognitive impairment. He is Co-Director of a rehabilitation simulation lab and a mobility clinic, combining clinical relevance with translational research.
