Dr. Gregory A. Roth is a distinguished Adjunct Professor of Global Health and Health Metrics Sciences at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), and an Associate Professor of Medicine – Cardiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. With an MD from Brown University and an MPH from the University of Washington, Dr. Roth specializes in global cardiovascular health surveillance and population health. His expertise extends to quality of care and outcomes for various cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure, coronary heart disease, and pulmonary hypertension. He is the director of the Clinical and Research for Client Services Unit (CSU) in the Department of Medicine – Cardiology at UW. Dr. Roth’s influential research is instrumental to the Global Burden of Disease Study, supported by organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
