Andrea Calvo is a neurologist currently working in Torino, Italy. He is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Torino, and a member of the SC Neurologia 1U clinical division at and the Città della Salute e della Scienza Hospital, Torino, Italy, and vice-coordinator of the ALS Expert Center (CRESLA) in Torino. In addition, he is also the past Co-Chair of the EAN Scientific panel for ALS and FTD and past Coordinator of the Motor Neuron Disorders Study Group of the Italian Neurological Society (SIN). He is currently the director of the PhD Course in Neuroscience University of Torino. His main areas of research are epidemiology, cognition, neuroimaging, palliative care and genetics of ALS and other neurodegenerative disordes. Andrea Calvo has published over 290 papers in peer-reviewed journals with an H-index of 70 (Scopus).
